現在ニューヨーク／アイスランドを拠点とし、IIKKIやlaaps等からも作品を発表する新潟出身の音楽家Masaya Ozakiの凱旋公演が遂に大決定！！その場の空間や身体、自然現象さえも音を構成するエレメントと化していくパフォーマンスや作品に高い注目を集めています。しかも今回はアイスランドの作曲家であり、多彩な分野で音と物質からなる音響彫刻の可能性を押し拡げるLilja Maria Asmundsdottirとのアート・プロジェクト「dwelling」を大披露！この日この場所でしか立ち現れないであろうふたりの音響パフォーマンスは要必見！更に新潟からはお屋敷でのモジュラーシンセ・イベント「音浴座敷」を主催し、自らも電子作家として創作活動を行う靄（moya）が応戦！会場は築100年を超える蔵に新たな息吹を与えたStudio 奏蔵舎にて。土曜日の昼下がり、是非お立ち寄り下さい！

A long-awaited homecoming performance by Niigata-born musician Masaya Ozaki, now based between New York and Iceland, is finally happening! Ozaki has been attracting considerable attention for his performances and works, in which the surrounding space, the body, and even natural phenomena become elements of the music itself. His works have also been released by labels including IIKKI and laaps. For this special occasion, Ozaki will present "dwelling," an art project created with Icelandic composer Lilja Maria Asmundsdottir. Through a wide range of artistic practices, Asmundsdottir explores and expands the possibilities of sound sculpture, working with sound and matter. Their acoustic performance, which will emerge only in this particular place and on this particular day, is not to be missed. From Niigata, moya will also join the event. moya organizes the modular synthesizer event "On-yoku Zashiki" and creates electronic music as an electronic artist. The venue is Studio Sozosha, a former storehouse more than 100 years old that has been given new life as a space for art and music. Come and spend a Saturday afternoon with us.

尾崎雅也 | 新潟県出身のニューヨークおよびアイスランドを拠点に活動する作曲家また演奏家。彼は音楽を「音だけで完結する媒体」としてではなく、空間、環境、物質、時間、身体といった要素を音と同等に重要なものとして作品に取り込み、それらの相互作用によって成立するものとして捉える。近年は氷や水といった自然物質を主題に作品を制作しており、ソロ・パフォーマンスでは金属面に落ちる氷の水滴の音をそのまま音素材として用いる。アンサンブル作品では、氷の融解速度を時間構造やリズムの変化に組み込み、自然現象そのものが音楽の進行を決定するような手法を展開している。彼の作品は、アイスランドを代表する国際現代音楽祭「Dark Music Days」、実験音楽フェスティバル「Extreme Chill Festival」、アイルランド「Dublin Fringe Festival」、ポーランド「Borderline Noise Festival」など、欧州を中心とした国際的な現代音楽・前衛音楽の文脈で発表している。また、レイキャビクにあるコンサート会場Mengiにて、女性、トランスジェンダー・アーティストに焦点を当てたコンサートシリーズ「Punch in the Mouth from the Inside」を立ち上げるなど、キュレーション活動も行っている。国際的な現代音楽コレクティブ、ヴァンデルヴァイザー楽派の一員として活動しているほか、細川俊夫によるオペラ「Natasha」においてフィールドレコーディングを提供するなど、現代音楽の最前線にも関わっている。近年の活動として、大阪・関西万博関連プロジェクトへの楽曲提供や、NHKスペシャル・ドキュメンタリー作品の音楽を提供するなど、映像作品分野にも活動の幅を広げている。さらに、アメリカ公共放送PBSにてゴールデンタイム放送予定の長編ドキュメンタリー映画作品の音楽も担当している。
学歴としては、バークリー音楽大学映画音楽学科にて学士号（B.Mus）を取得後、アイスランド芸術大学にて作曲修士号（M.Mus）を取得。
Masaya Ozaki is a New York/Iceland-based composer and performer born in Niigata, Japan. He composes music as a relational form intertwined with space, time, the body, environment, and material. He treats these five elements as musical materials that are equally important to sound. He has been focusing on natural materials such as ice and water. In his solo performances, he uses the sound of water droplets from melting ice falling onto metal surfaces as sonic material. In ensemble works, he places melting ice in front of the performers, and integrates the rate of ice melting into time structures and rhythmic transformations. He seeks to let natural processes shape the music. Ozaki's work has been presented at Dark Music Days (Iceland), Extreme Chill Festival (Iceland), Dublin Fringe Festival (Ireland), and Borderline Noise Festival (Poland). He is an original member of the Spidernetwork collective, co-curates experimental music festivals in Iceland and founded Punch in the Mouth from the Inside, a concert series at Mengi featuring female and transgender artists. He is currently working on an ongoing collaboration dwelling with Lilja Maria Asmundsdottir. He is a member of the Wandelweiser composer collective and contributed field recordings to Toshio Hosokawa's opera Natasha (2025). He has released music on eilean rec., IIKKI, Dinzu Artefacts, and laaps. He holds a B.Mus in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music and an M.Mus in Composition from Iceland University of the Arts in Reykjavik.

リリヤ・マリア・アウスムンドスドッティル | アイスランド出身の作曲家。彼女の作品は、共創による創造性の探求を中心に展開される。音と物質の彫刻的な性質を用いながら、インスタレーション、オーディオビジュアル作品、パフォーマンスを制作している。代表作には、アイスランド大統領学生イノベーション賞にノミネートされた音と光の彫刻作品「Hulda」や、ダンスパフォーマーのイネス・ジーニョ・ピニェイロとの共同制作によるサウンド・スカルプチャー「Lurking Creature」がある。彼女の作品は、アイスランドのDark Music Days、英国のHuddersfield Contemporary Music Festival、ドイツのDonaueschinger MusiktageおよびMoers Festival、ロンドンのeavesdropping、メキシコのVisiones Sonoras、ポルトガルのQuinzena de Danca de Almadaなど、各国の音楽祭・芸術祭で発表されている。アイスランド芸術大学で音楽演奏の学士号を取得後、ロンドン大学シティ校で作曲の修士号および博士号を取得。
Lilja Maria Asmundsdottir is an artist and musician from Iceland. Her artistic practice is centred on explorations of collaborative creativity. Working with sculptural elements of sound and matter, she creates installations, audio-visual pieces and performances. The works are actively designed to facilitate continuous processes that highlight how ideas surface from correspondences with materials, between individuals, and in context to one's surroundings. Her works include the sound and light sculpture Hulda which was nominated for the President's Student Innovation Award and the living sound sculpture Lurking Creature which she developed in collaboration with the dancer Ines Zinho Pinheiro. Lilja Maria's works have for example been exhibited at Dark Music Days Festival in Reykjavik, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, eavesdropping in London, Visiones Sonoras in Mexico, Quinzena de Danca de Almada in Portugal, Brunel Museum in London, and Grand Theatre in Groningen. Lilja Maria is a part of the art collective Hlokk along with Ingibjorg Yr Skarphedinsdottir and Ragnheidur Erla Bjornsdottir. Their audio-visual album, Hulduhljod, received the Kraumur Awards in 2019. The album was also nominated for the Icelandic Music Awards as album of the year in open category. In 2022, Lilja Maria and Ines Zinho Pinheiro released the piece Internal Human as an audio-visual album. The project was nominated for the Kraumur Awards. The piece exists both as a live performance and as a video installation. Lilja Maria studied visual arts at Fjolbrautaskolinn i Gardabae in Iceland. She holds a B.Mus degree in music performance from Iceland University of the Arts and an MA degree in composition from City, University of London. She recently finished her PhD at City, University of London researching collaborative creativity within artistic practices. Her supervisor was Claudia Molitor.
